Advantages of SE Liberty compared to SE Universal
- Delivery of the Media Kit:
You will receive a box containing the installation CD, video-tutorial CD, printed manual and the software protection key (dongle). Stitch Era Liberty can be installed on several computers, but it can only work where the key is installed.
- Autonomy, Independence:
After Stitch Era Liberty is installed and activated, the connection to the internet is not a requirement. If you prefer, you can connect to the internet only to receive updates through the Live-Update service.
- Advertising:
It doesn’t show the advertising panel. Stitch Era Liberty increases the available screen workspace where to work, becoming a more comfortable operation.
- Features:
Stitch Era Liberty has some additional functionality, and many more system components (fonts, stitch types, etc.). In addition to extending the library of components, it allows the creation of new custom components.
- Options:
Stitch Era Liberty is not a closed product. You can add optional modules or specific functions that are available, as well as a huge number of system components that are ready-to-use; by purchasing them on-line through the Stitch Era Service Center (SEWS).

If the company needs more work stations, probably the best alternative is to install SE Universal (free) on most computers, and have Stitch Era Liberty running only for those jobs that cannot be done in SE Universal. SE Liberty can also be used when the internet connection or the servers for the service is faulty.
- Alchemy:
When you try to run the application on a work station where SE Liberty was installed; but you have removed the protective device, the work station works as a SE Universal terminal (certainly, you lose the characteristics of SE Liberty), then you may use the system alternately in those two modes.
